Grand Opening Event
October 26th, 2009 - The New Country Motel held it's Grand Opening event with tours of the Motel, Pancake Breakfast and draws from supporting businesses. Our local radio station, CJ104 was on site for the morning. We raised over $700 for "A Port in the Storm" www.aportinthestorm.ca. In the evening many out of town guests enjoyed dinner catered by Johnny Wintoniw executive chef and owner of Y Not Johnny's. A entertaining "Murder Mystery" capped off the day.
